Isle of Tiree Images > Other Collections > Dun Mor Broch > Hollow dry stone walls, Dun Mor Broch
The hollow walls of the broch featured recesses, stores and guard room to protect the entrance and stairways to upper floors. The remote island of Tiree lies off the Scottish west coast and, along with the Isle of Coll, is the most remote of the Inner Hebrides. The ever present sea, opportunites for walking, fine locally produced food and high levels of sunshine has become a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. For more info go to the Map of Tiree.
