Rescue Craft, Ferry Trip from Oban - Isle of Tiree, Scotland

CalMac ferries carry rescue craft. On some crossings these will be launched as part of a safety drill. This adds a few minutes to the journey but does offer an interesting spectacle as the craft is dropped into the sea and speeds off.

Tiree, renowned for both sunshine and winds, lies off the Atlantic coast of Scotland. It is the most westerly of the Inner Hebrides.
