A traditional white washed cottage lies at the head of Port Ban beach. At low tide a long thin expanse of sheltered beach is exposed. Tiree, The Land of Corn, is located beyond Mull on the fringe of the Atlantic. It is the most westerly of the Inner Hebrides. Wide expanses of clean sand, abundance of wildlife, black & white cottages and high levels of sunshine has become a magnet for discerning tourists. For details go to Tiree in the News page.
