Kilkenneth chapel, is literally Church of St Kenneth. Dating from the late middle ages it has become partly buried by sand dunes. The Isle of Tiree lies some 60miles from the mainland of Scotland and is unique among Scottish islands. Glorious beaches, surfing, sailing, traditional Hebridean architecture and record levels of sunshine keeps visitors coming back again and again. To explore further check out the island 'capital', Scarinish. This photograph is strictly copyright. You must not use these anywhere without first seeking permission. |
