MacCallum's Cairn was erected to honour the Rev. Donald MacCallum who supported crofters rights on Tiree in the late 1880's. Tiree, the sunshine isle, lies some 60miles from the mainland of Scotland and is unique among Scottish islands. Stunning white beaches, the incredible number of bird species, age old townships and friendly atmosphere has become a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. For details explore Tiree in the News page.
