Tiree - Wind on waves at Gott Bay, Weather Photographs

Gott Bay sands are strewn with seaweed after an over night November storm. The morning wind is seen catching the breaking waves and throwing spray in to the air. The bigger the wave, the bigger the cloud of spray!

The mainly flat island of Tiree is located some 60miles from mainland Scotland. It is the remotest of the Inner Hebrides. Miles of sandy beaches, wind & kite surfing, traditional agriculture and friendly atmosphere ensures visitors return to Tiree. For more info begin at the Tiree Map page.
