Caolas Township, Isle of Tiree. Caolas is Gaelic for 'strait' and refers to the narrow strip of sea between Tiree and the little island of Gunna with Coll beyond.

Places near Caoles: Milton, Port Ban, Salum & Vaul

The Isle of Tiree, just twelve miles long, is located off the Scottish west coast. It is the most westerly of the Inner Hebrides. The ever changing sea, wild birds by the thousand, the quiet roads and record levels of sunshine has become a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. For more, go to the Map of Tiree.
