Baugh & Heanish, Isle of Tiree, photographed from Dr Buchanan's Memorial. Tiree, famed for sunshine yet exposed to the winds, lies some 60miles from the mainland of Scotland and, along with the Isle of Coll, is the most remote of the Inner Hebrides. The exposed coastline, watersport facilities, traditional agriculture and pleasant environment has become a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. For more details take a look at Scarinish, the 'capital'.
