Vaul (Gaelic Bhalla) offers excellent views to the Western Isles / Outer Hebides plus the Small Isles of Canna & Rum with the Cullins of Skye beyond. The 9 hole course of Tiree Golf Club lies between Vaul and Gott bay. 5674 yards (18 holes). S.S.S. 68 (18 holes).

Dun Beg fort and Dun Mor Broch lies to the north west of Vaul while The Ringing Stone can be found further along the north coast, about half way to Balephetrish.

Dun Beg is a small (20m x 15m) oval fort on a small five metre high hillock adjacent to the sea.
