From the north coast of Isle of Tiree - Mingulay, Barra and other Western Isles / Outer Hebrides are visible to the northwest. From Caoles & Vaul the islands of Rum, Eig, Coll and Gunna plus a distant Isle of Skye can be seen. Also, looking between Coll and Mull, mainland Scotland at Ardnamurchan plus some high peaks including Ben Nevis can be seen.

On the south coast of Tiree the panorama sweeps from Mull with the Treshnish Islands round to Iona, the smooth peaks of Jura and flatter Islay to the south.
